Kemek is back again after his outings in experimental music and dubstep last year on ‘Sine Language’ and ‘Certain Frequencies’ gaining new attention for him as an artist. His downtempo experimental output gained attention with ‘Certain Frequencies’ being licensed to chillout compilations and played on Radio and Podcasts extensively. He now delivers an experimental chillout album featuring sounds that take us back to Kemek’s roots in the nineties and field recordings that takes a listener to Kemeks stays in Japan and his battles with tinnitus. The journey is melancholy at times and otherwise gentle and uplifting. Kemek was Muti Music’s debut artist back in 2002 and went on to become quite a name in Breakbeat, releasing on Bedrock Breaks, Air Dog, Sponge Recordings amongst others and also remixing ‘My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult’ for release on Red Ant & Studio !K7. He had also recorded music as 303 Terrorist on Silent Recordings in the nineties.
