His signature sound of crushed bass and electrifying digital stabs, along with a good amount of crunchy sounds that tear a hole through the fabric of time, are still evident and definitively create a spark to the tunes. Red Giant Project once again collaborate with the outstanding Tre Aces to drop a tune of laid back instrumentation with acoustic guitars providing the backdrop for the laying down of some straight hitting conscious lyricism. The blend of voices from Shane Hall and Burkey with the swag of Tre Aces flow, makes this an easy listen to put on repeat.

Mimosa has a new release, out everywhere now.
Valley Of Souls is a deep and beautiful journey melodic and introspective beats that instantly touch the listener.
The title tune draws heavily on influences like Burial’s beautiful Untrue album, except for every point that makes Burial sound like a grey day in London, Mimosa brings his flare to the organic Garage sounding beats with his signature heavy pads, that soften the sound and bring on a whole different set of emotions. Bones then takes you on a melancholic stroll through nature, the dissonant vocal samples and spaciousness of the tune are a reminder to breathe through the sadness eminent in the tune. The release closes out with Solitude, a tune that can be described as a warm embrace from Mother Earth or some other matriarch, the beats imitating a heartbeat and while you’re back in a womb like place, the vocals serve as comfort. You’ll find it hard not to take a deep breathe and feel the peace and comfort of these beautiful tunes.
