The samples in Hello Hello Hello were sourced using the Citizen DJ project from the Library of Congress, a project that allows producers access to certain archives in order to use samples without restriction. Many of the samples, came from the Tony Schwartz collection. Tony Schwartz was an American sound archivist whose life-long interest in people, sound, music, and events led him to record urban folklore and soundscapes in his New York City neighborhood.
Starting as a grassroots project in Baltimore, SOOHAN has taken off as an identity in global dancefloor fusion, effortlessly combining diverse rarities with familiar 808s and basslines.
Since his initial east coast success, SOOHAN finds himself touring the US and Canada on a consistent and constant basis, with festival appearances at the likes of Envision, Lightning In A Bottle, Symbiosis, Burning Man, and numerous others. With some seven albums, ten million streams, and a widely celebrated DJ mix series with Global Bass Radio, SOOHAN has hit his stride and shows no signs of slowing.
