Thanks to MusicFests365 for featuring Dov1 – GhettoTech on their site this week, you can read about it here.
The new single is creating a buzz already and we also just dropped a video for it today too, Here is the story Dov gave us about the making of the video:
“I had been thinking about how we could be entering a new ‘roaring twenties’ era and when I made this tune, I kept wiggling from side to side in my chair and I wanted to make some sort of visual representation for people on how they could move to these beats, as they are not necessarily a standard electronic music genre sort of beat, but they could work with Juke, Bounce, Drum & Bass, Electro etc, as they were inspired by all those sounds.
I started digging for dance party footage from the 1920’s and ended up finding dance footage all the way back to the 1890s, I also wanted to include movements from swing dancing as it has that great side to side wiggle, much like what I was doing in my chair while making the tune, anyway, the end product is what you see in this post. I hope you enjoy this journey into dance crazes of the past and help us create some new dance crazes of the future.”
