Introducing a new artist from Riga Latvia, namely Stereoglyph, who claims online music forums educated him with cool music and there must have been a good few US west coast ‘heads’ on those boards as he manages to sound more like the US west coast than many artists actually from San Francisco or L.A. The beats are tight, the synths are uplifting, friendly, hyped up and melodic. We look forward to hearing more from this talented young artist. Stereoglyph started playing with FL Studio 7 when he was 12 years old, and became another FL Studio kiddie. After a few years of making ear-piercing techno, joining an online music community (www.idmforums.com) gave him the slap in the face he needed, and he set off on a journey starting at Dubstep and Glitch Hop, going through House, Electro, Drum’n’Bass, and Ambient, before coming back to Glitch Hop, and finally founding the name Stereoglyph in November, 2011.
