At times sounding like a journey to some interstellar port of unknown location the Brooklyn Ride, could be somewhere you’d hitchhike to carrying nothing but your towel and hoping Hal has all the answers. The beats on this EP are fast and energetic and bass pumps and rolls and at times even gives you the full sine wave treatment. Wash delivers on all fronts with an EP ranging from DnB to Footwork and fusions of the two. Wash is the co-founder of Hong Kong's premier Drum&Bass + Dubstep promoter Kongkretebass + Kongkastalong side partner in crime Electronic Mistress (Elemiz), a Hong Kong based organization which has been pushing the limits and boundaries in every angle possible promoting music events, website, as well as Asia’s biggest drum & bass/dubstep podcast in the region since 2006. Raised in Sydney, Australia in the 90s, he took to deejaying in the year with breakbeats, hip hop and later Drum & Bass. Sharing stages with high profile DJs such as Friction, Goldie, Breakage, SpectraSoul, Shimon, Chris Su & Jade, Lynx, Goth-Trad, Distance, Kode9, Kryptic Minds, Pinch to name a few. With his unique deep, dark, tech-style sounds in the genres of Drum & Bass and Bass Music, he continues to push his production. Wash was the first Chinese born Drum and Bass Producer from Hong Kong to be released not only in China, but in Europe, where he was asked by renowned Czech Republic’s Trash Pop band “100°C“ on INDIESCOPE Records to remix for their album “Brunt Rock” released in 2008. With his second release in early 2013 on a fast rising China based label Rankadank Recordings, Wash’s “Repulsion EP (2011)” and his “Equilibrium EP” is seen as the forefront of Hong Kong Drum & Bass music, more recently he has also released on Section 8 Recordings.
