Better Days sees Intersect collaborate with a true stalwart of Canadian bass music. With countless festival appearances under his belt and an incredibly engaged fan-base to boot – it’s the man with the cape, the one known as JPOD. A sneaky vocal is intricately woven throughout the intro, charming you with its sweetness before cracking open your pineal gland on the drop, with its quirky twists and turns. This one is for the heads.
In The Clouds is a collaboration with fellow Nelsonite Ben Fox that instantly takes us into a profoundly deep-rooted space with some of the freshest ‘deep’ Dubstep sounds we’ve heard in a while. All of the whomps are in the right places, that deep sub hits the sweet spot, the melodies engage your synapses and you can comfortably ride the low end all the way to Timbuktu.
This is deep Dubstep that will work a dance floor.
Intersect are Rahj Levinson (Rahjmahal) and Scott Milne (Scot Millions) based out of Nelson BC. They reflect the emerging sounds of bass music while paying homage to the known. Sharing a love of electronic music, they have been focusing on developing their unique sound, culminating in the release of their first EP ‘Push If You Like’ in December 2014, as Intersect the duo Millions/Mahal are bringing the heat to dance floors everywhere, having played at Shambhala Music festival many years running, Bass Coast, Kamp and Unity Festival, and played with acts like Dimond Saints, The Librarian, Eprom, Sam Binga, and Gaudi, among others.
