An-ten-nae - Acid Crunk EP 5 fulfills all the themes that have been featured in this ‘acid crunk’ series that has included performances and remixes by Ghislain Poirier, Face-T, Lawgiverz, Dov, Samba and Outersect. This time round we are honored to also have Jamaican dancehall star ‘Buccaneer’ featured twice, delivering an awesome vocal performance that flows effortlessly over heavy basslines. An-ten-nae takes influences from Grime, Dubstep, Hyphe Hip Hop and his prior productions in Electro House and Breakbeat and creates infectious beats for the dancefloor. This new crunked out midtempo sound with driving beats and big hitting basslines has the talk of the west coast and is gaining more attention with BBC Radio - Mary Anne Hobbs recently featuring one of An-ten-nae’s tracks in her ‘West Coast Rocks’ show along with Glitch Mob, Lazer Sword and Gasslamp Killer, following her US west coast tour. An-ten-ane and his epic club night ‘Get Freaky’ in San Francisco have been a huge factor in pushing this emerging sound, playing alongside everyone from Freq Nasty to Sinden, Medhi, Jahcoozi, Sebastian, Modeselektor, Drop The Lime and the who’s who of ‘Acid Crunk / Glitch Hop’ scenes from the US west coast including ‘Tipper’, ‘The Glitch Mob’ and ‘Bassnectar’. We have also commissioned An-ten-nae to compile a compilation of his ‘Acid Crunk’ sound now being supported by accomplished producers globally, keep your ears peeled for our Muti Music updates as it will be dropping with a bang, very soon.
