D!lemma is new to Muti Music but has been making himself known in bass music for a while with Drum & Bass and Dubstep releases through Widdfam and Aspire Higher. Mage Runner is his latest single, the tune is a deep Dubstep roller, keeping true to the 140 vibes with rhythmic hats and cymbals keeping the roll alive and warm sub bass that will certainly have your head bobbing, percussive delays, stuttered distorted bits and a few squelches make up the atmospherics, and gentle stabs and light vocal accents create just enough added flair. Here’s is some of D!lemma’s story in his own words:
“In the summer of 2019 I was involved in a horrible neuro (brain) accident. (Not a car accident). It wasn't a physical injury, but the repercussions were. My brain sent all 5 of my senses into a state of hypersensitivity. The senses affected the most were my hearing and vision. When this initially happened to me, I had to quit my job as normal/social activities became seemingly impossible. Everything was too loud or too strong of a sensation to withstand. I couldn't listen to music anymore. I was terrified and beyond devastated. Life was taken away from me. I felt stuck in a dark hole where no one understood, and life became pointless. After 8 months of retraining my brain I saw dramatic improvement, and a light. Everyday, with the help of others, I worked through different methods to get back to doing what I love. I came out of this rejuvenated and extremely motivated. This battle was something unimaginable. It gave me true perspective and taught me who I really am. I chose not to give up on myself, because of how much music means to me. Losing wasn't an option. Being able to finish this project is a dream come true of its own. Remember, you control your future.”
