If you’ve ever been a fan of Andreilien or Heyoka, then you are familiar with the quirky genius of Andrei Olenev, if not, then you are most definitely in for a special treat. He shifted his production DAW to Bitwig, built some incredibly complex regenerative sound generators and sampling blocks and changed his production moniker to Iterate. He has an almost cult like following of fans who love his glitched out bass driven beats and people who love fractals. His unique form of genius comes to light strongly on his latest productions. The bass is strong, the tempos range from Halftime DnB to swanky chilled out trippy grooves, to rolling Breakbeats and Electro Bass. Each tune featuring intricate glitch effects and his distinct ability to create unique atmospheric sound design. Iterate launched with an all original new set that he dropped at a few camps at Burning Man, the highlight being when the thousands of people gathered for his set at Camp Questionmark and then he repeated the mind blowing performance headlining Raindance Campout and at our Muti Music stage at HowWeird Street Faire. If the audience response at those shows were a valid indication, then we know you’ll be as stimulated by these new tunes as we are.
